Synopsis

An explosive and gripping tale about the phenomenon of False Memory Syndrome. Anna Weiss exposes our need for unquestioning faith in each other as three characters plummet into an abyss of mutual mistrust.

Review

The acting is committed, passionate and deeply sincere and the direction sensitive and taut – an intense 60 minutes.

It is a huge part to learn and Carol Fitzpatrick holds the stage magnificently. In fact, all the acting is superb. Lucy Adams as Lynn has great stillness – a good foil to the vociferously vocal Anna.

The actors gave it all they’d got. I spotted the video of Momento (it’s about memory) amongst the contents of the boxes – a nice touch. There may have been other similar signals there. I could not see, but it was obviously a carefully considered, sincere production.

Music and lighting were good, but it’s the actors who hold our attention.
